You may have some products in your shop that you don't want included in alerts. You can prevent any product, variant, or collection from being included in your alerts by excluding it.
When something is excluded from alerts, it will not be checked for inventory again. The app will simply ignore it.
The app supports both excluding alerts and pausing alerts. Excluding (described here), permanently removes a product or collection from your alerts. Once excluded, an item will never appear in your alerts unless you 'un-exclude' it. Pausing, however, is temporary. When you pause something, it is paused until a specific date. After that date, paused products automatically un-pause and resume sending alerts.
When to use exclude or pause:
After following the steps above, click on Configure Excluded Products to customize which individual products and variants are excluded from inventory checks.
The Excluded Products page shows a list of all the products and variants that you've marked as excluded. From here you can add and remove exclusions.
Once added, those products and variants will no longer be checked and will not be included in alerts.
If you have previously excluded a product or variant, you can easily 'un-exclude' it, so it will again be checked. Just find the item in the list of excluded products and click the - button to the right.
Sometimes, especially as you're initially setting up the app, you'll spot something in your alerts that should be excluded. To quicly exclude a product that appears in your alerts:
From the Alerts page in the app, you can quickly exclude individual products with a single click.
You can also exclude all products in a certain collection. When you exclude a collection, everything in that collection will be ignored.
From there, you can easily add collections to exclude or remove existing collection exclusions.
